Picasa takes on Flickr

Picasa Web Albums releases on limited test. This is Google's Flickr-killer, although there's a way to go; Flickr broke the 100 million images barrier a while ago.

Hmmm. It's got a way to go before it becomes a potential Flickr-killer, based on the available information. It seems to lack the community features which make Yahoo's purchase so addictive.
